COOK

  • Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy.

  • Prepares foods and seasons food according to recipes or company needs.

  • Manages other employees in the kitchen.

  • Orders ingredients and spices as needed.

  • Operates various kitchen appliances.

  • Assists other cooks during the food assembly process.

  • Devises new recipes.

  • Estimates expected food consumption and organizes preparation.

  • Keeps records and accounts of food purchases.

  • Stays open until the last customer leaves.

  • Cleans up after business hours.

  • Communicates with the store manager about how to improve meal service.

MANAGER

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors

  • Organize and supervise shifts

  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products

  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses

  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

  • Solid background working as a hospitality manager, restaurant manager, restaurant general manager, or in a position comparable.

  • Demonstrable managerial experience in customer service.

  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverages (F&B), including the capacity to recall recipes and ingredients to advise patrons and wait staff.

  • Strong people, motivational, and leadership abilities.

  • Acute knowledge of money management.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; attending culinary or hotel management school is advantageous.

CASHIER

  • Collect cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers

  • Make change accurately and efficiently

  • Issue receipts to customers

  • Deal with returns and refunds as necessary

  • Maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct

  • Answer customer questions as they arise

  • Calculate customer bills through cash register ringing

  • Help with other tasks as needed including managing shelves, tracking inventory, and keeping the store clean

  • Ability to read and understand instructions

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide easily and quickly

  • Experience operating a cash register

  • Proficient cashier and clerical skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)

  • High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
