JAWS was founded in 2007 by a young entrepreneur who was passionate about sharing his love of Korean street food with the world. He started the business with a small shop in front of Korea University, and he was determined to make the best topokki (spicy rice cakes) in Seoul. He refused to compromise on the quality of his ingredients, even when it meant making less profit. His hard work and dedication paid off, and JAWS quickly became one of the most popular topokki restaurants in the city.

Using only the highest quality ingredients and offering a variety of healthy menu options, including keto-friendly Gimbap, Master Kim has brought street food Gimbap to the next level. With opening over 100 stores for the first year of the brand launching, Master Kim is loved by people of all ages and backgrounds.

With a strong passion about our food and our mission to spread happiness, we got involved with multiple events and brand collaboration. We also continue giving back to the community by participating in many charity initiatives.

The journey of JAWS Food began in 2008 with CEO Sangkyun Nah who had a big dream. A dream of a world where everyone could enjoy delicious food that was good for them and good for the planet. JAWS Food expanded its store and opened its 100th store in 2011 and started growing and didn't stop creating a positive and collaborative work environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated.
